DVD Policy

Patrons under the age of eighteen years old must have a signed parental permission slip on file to gain access to the entire DVD collection. Parents who do not want their children to have access to certain DVDs should not give permission. If permission is given for DVD checkout, it is the parent’s responsibility to advise their children what is appropriate for them. Patrons are cautioned that not all DVDs are rated. Published reviews of films can provide information about content, subject matter, and recommended audiences. Such reviews are available on the Internet. Forms that provided juveniles access to the Library’s DVD collection are available at the Circulation Desk.
