Donations

Monetary donations can be made to the library several different ways.

1) A donation can be made directly to the library with a specific request on how the donated funds should be used. For example, the library receives donations that are designated for purchasing children’s books, large print items, puzzles, or books on CD. The entire donated amount will go directly to the specified area. Please indicate your specific request.

2) A general donation can be made to the library with no specific areas listed to put the funds towards. All general donations will be saved and used at the library’s discretion for future purchases or improvements.

3) Donations may also be made to the Friends of the West Iron District Library. The Friends of the WIDL raise funds to help support the library. Past purchases made by the Friends include furniture, DVD machines, new carpeting and paint, Readers’ Courtyard completion, etc.

Any donation can be made in honor or memory of a loved one if the donor chooses. The library will provide donation receipts for tax purposes.
